Common mallow is a large, spreading plant with beautiful deep pink flowers that appear from June to October. It can be easily found on roadside verges, along footpaths, and on waste ground.
Marshmallow is used to soften up inflexible mental attitudes, and for those who are hard-hearted and unable to feel their own emotions. Unsurprisingly for a plant ruled by Venus, Mallow is carried to attract love. The flowers are used in Beltane rituals. They can also be added to ritual baths, especially for those to increase fertility and lust. It’s also very spiritually and physically protective when made into oil. Use it to anoint yourself for personal protection.
